Hey there!

We are now looking for a trainee to join our Test Engineering team!

We are talking about a fixed term trainee position in the city center of Helsinki, in a nice and cozy office. Length of the employment can vary from 3 to 6 months, based on your wishes. As a Test Engineer your main mission is to build further our test engineering capabilities, contribute to the development of our technical solutions to address our QA challenges and ensure the overall quality of our software together with the team.

Your main responsibilities as Test Engineer Trainee would include:

  • Willingness and ability to learn fast, and take on challenges with a natural and effective problem-solver mindset.
  • Engage in a variety of testing engineering tasks depending on the needs of our cross functional teams and projects.
  • Understand the current pain points of our service, propose, design and implement test engineering solutions for renewing our service testability and overall increase our software quality.

Here are some requirements that are needed from you:

  • You have a critical eye for quality assurance.
  • Experience with Linux based environments.
  • Verbal and written communications skills in Finnish and in English.
  • Relevant education: Studied, or studying Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.

These are seen as strong pluses:

  • Familiarity with Relational Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with design and development tools such as: Git, Agile JIRA, Confluence.
  • Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process and tools.
  • Experience in designing and setting up cloud based (i.e. AWS) automated test engineering solutions.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g. Robot Framework).
